862 DRONES TARGETED MOSCOW REGION

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 862 drones had headed towards the Moscow region since last night, most of which were destroyed at long range, while 170 were shot down on the approaches to the Russian capital.

The Russian Defense Ministry said yesterday that the largest Ukrainian drone attack to date was carried out on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, and that Russian air defenses shot down a total of 1,214 Ukrainian drones.

The previous record for drones shot down was set on the night of September 20, when Ukrainian forces launched 1,110 drones. /end/dl/nm
