JANKOVIĆ: 20-TONNES LIMIT ON GRADIŠKA BORDER OVERPASS

GRADIŠKA, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ - Acting Director of the public company "Putevi Republike Srpske" Miroslav Janković said the load capacity of the overpass at the Gradiška-Stara Gradiška border crossing between BiH and Croatia is limited to 20 tons.

"The proposed measure was to limit the load capacity to 20 tons. On that basis, `Putevi Republike Srpske` carried out repairs so that the overpass could be put into operation," Janković told reporters this morning in Gradiška at the opening of the border crossing.

He said the road is between 4.5 and five meters wide.

Gradiška Mayor Zoran Adžić thanked those responsible for the repair of the old border crossing.

"This will mean a lot for Republika Srpska and BiH. It will make it easier for people, goods and businesspeople to cross. It is a great day for Gradiška, for Republika Srpska and for BiH," Adžić said.
