AMIDŽIĆ: BORDER CROSSING GAIN FOR CITIZENS AND ECONOMY

GRADIŠKA, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers Srđan Amidžić said this morning that the opening of the Gradiška-Stara Gradiška border crossing between BiH and Croatia is very important for citizens and businesses, as there will be shorter waiting times and a faster flow of goods now that there are two border crossings.

"We now have two border crossings in the Gradiška area, which is extremely significant. For citizens, it means shorter waits when crossing the border, because they will have two crossings. For businesses, it will mean that carriers will also wait less," Amidžić told reporters in Gradiška at the opening of the border crossing.

He said the flow of goods and services will be faster, which is extremely important.

"Citizens` problems cannot be solved only at election time; they must be solved continuously. This is a good thing for everyone living in Srpska and in the Federation of BiH, because it is a border crossing for everyone who lives in BiH," Amidžić added.
