TOPIĆ AND PATERSON SHARE THIRD PLACE IN HIGH JUMP

BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ - Serbian high jumper Angelina Topić finished third at the inaugural Ultimate World Championship in Athletics in Budapest.

Clearing 1.91 metres, Topić shared third place with Australia’s Eleanor Patterson.

Topić cleared the opening height of 1.86 metres on her first attempt, as well as the next height of 1.91 metres, but knocked down the bar three times at 1.95 metres.

Adriana Vilagoš is scheduled to compete in the javelin throw tomorrow, and Luka Bošković will compete in the long jump.
