VIŠKOVIĆ STRONGLY CONDEMNED ATTACK ON SERBIAN STUDENTS IN SARAJEVO AND CALLED FOR VANDALS TO BE PUNISHED

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković strongly condemned the attack on students from Novi Sad in Sarajevo and called for the vandals to be properly punished.

Višković called on the competent institutions in the Federation of BiH to finally deal with such matters, because attacks on Serbian citizens in Sarajevo have become more and more frequent.

"It is especially worrisome that more than once it was children. Such a situation worries us, because it gives the impression that Serbs are not welcome in this city, even as tourists," said the Prime Minister of Srpska.

He emphasized that such events send bad messages and that is why he calls on politicians and the entire public from the Federation of BiH to think carefully the next time they send bad messages against the Serbian people, because this obviously causes such things.

"I especially call on the Federal Minister of the Interior, Ramo Isak, to respond adequately and protect Serbian children. Let him show his muscles in this situation and find the perpetrators of this cruel event, which was created on a national basis, as soon as possible," Višković said.

According to him, citizens are witnesses to Isak's daily bragging that he will arrest officials from Republika Srpska, which is his wishful thinking, but also witnesses that he cannot perform his basic job - to maintain security in the territory for which he is responsible.

Last night in Sarajevo, high school students from Novi Sad were attacked with baseball bats, including a girl, said the president of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Serbs in the Federation of BiH, Đorđe Radanović.
