VLASENICA, APRIL 21 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković has said today in Vlasenica that the fight for the legitimate status of the Serb people continues in BiH and that Srpska will never give up on defending its freedom.
At the Vlasenica Liberation Day celebration, Višković recalled that on April 21, 1992, another Bosniak fraud was prevented and a plan to repeat the history of the summer of 1942in this region, when more than 200 prominent Serbs were shot in Rašića Gaj, was thwarted.
"Almost the same infernal plan was made for the 1990s, because later it turned out that there were lists of prominent Serbs for liquidation," Višković told the press.
Višković stated that the Bosniaks were preparing for bloodshed through the then official institutions, but thanks to the intelligence of the then JNA, the plans were foiled.
He reminded that one smart operation avoided a more terrible massacre than the one in Rašića Gaj.
The prime minister of Srpska pointed out that, unfortunately, little has changed in 33 years; the prominent Serbs are again under attack, those who fight for Republika Srpska are hindered by the illegal court and prosecutor’s office.
Višković says the Republika Srpska institutions are sending today messages of peace from Vlasenica, but defending their freedom and property.
The mayor of the municipality, Miroslav Kraljević, reminded that Vlasenica was a unique city where a peaceful division of the territory was agreed upon, but that the SDA gave up on that, arming its people for a bloodshed.
"The Serbs in the area of Vlasenica had no choice but to organise and defend their own. We got information that every Bosniak in Vlasenica was supposed to liquidate one Serb," said Kraljević.
According to him, the Serb corps prevented the history of the Second World War from repeating iin this region.
Vlasenica is marking today 33rd anniversary of the liberation of the municipality in the Defensive-Patriotic War, which claimed the lives of more than 300 Serb soldiers.
