BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 4 /SRNA/ - Alliance of Independent Social Democrats /SNSD/ today resolutely rejected the verdict against the President of Republika Srpska, emphasizing that at a time when attempts are being made to forcefully impose political silencing, it will stand even more strongly and clearly behind its President Milorad Dodik, according to the conclusions adopted unanimously by the Main Board at the proposal of the Presidency.

SNSD, as the strongest political party of the Serb people in BiH, today adopted several conclusions regarding the shameful and politically motivated verdict against the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, delivered in circumstances of complete legal violence and institutional degradation.

SNSD resolutely rejects the verdict against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik as legally null and void, politically motivated and directed against the free will of the people of Republika Srpska.

It is emphasized that the verdict is not a product of justice, but of unconstitutional work and political order coming from the offices of unelected foreigners and Muslim-Bosniak factor, and as such it is unconstitutional and against the Republika Srpska, its president and the people who placed their trust in him.

Given the fact that the Republika Srpska is a party to the Dayton Agreement, we believe that in this case of political persecution, the other party to the agreement /Federation of BiH/, by abusing the unreasonable, anti-Dayton, extra-constitutional and politicized Court of BiH, is trying to eliminate the Republika Srpska as a party.

Accepting this practice would mean giving consent to the annulment of the Dayton Agreement.

This party believes that the institution of the President of the Republic, as the institution of the highest democratic legitimacy of the Republika Srpska, is under direct political attack and that it is necessary to show determination and commitment to the interests of the Republika Srpska and its citizens more and more strongly than ever.

The SNSD Secretariat is obliged to organize public forums and rallies in the coming period at which the membership and citizens would be informed about the policies and decisions of the SNSD bodies.

Two-way communication of SNSD bodies with its members and citizens must be continuous and of the highest intensity.

The SNSD confirms its full commitment to a sovereign democratic Republika Srpska, in which only voters, as holders of sovereignty, can decide who are the legitimate and legal holders of public office.

No court, domestic or foreign, in an extra-constitutional, political process has the right to destroy the will of the people, because that would mean destroying the very idea of a democratic society.

The SNSD believes that, despite the political differences that exist and are legitimate, it is high time to achieve the broadest possible socio-political consensus among all political actors in the Republika Srpska.

It is necessary, as stated in the conclusions, to clearly, unequivocally and jointly reject the idea that anyone other than the citizens of Republika Srpska, through free and democratic elections, can decide who should be the President of Republika Srpska, the member of the Presidency of BiH from Republika Srpska, the MPs or the representatives of Republika Srpska in the joint institutions of BiH.

The SNSD emphasized that at a time when attempts are being made to forcefully impose political silencing, not only will we not accept having our voices taken away, but we will stand even more strongly and clearly behind our President Milorad Dodik.

Milorad Dodik is the president of the SNSD, the founder and political leader in the fight for freedom, legitimacy and a strong Republika Srpska.

It was emphasized that no false high representative, no foreign embassy, can force anyone in the SNSD to renounce the vision, ideas, programs and results that are a symbol of a modern, free and state-forming Republika Srpska.

The SNSD believes that the European integration process in BiH has been delegitimized because Brussels, and especially the Delegation of the European Union to BiH, has sided with the anti-constitutional and politicized Court of BiH.

Accordingly, the SNSD will initiate an intra-party debate on European integration and until a final position is determined, our representatives will not participate in activities related to EU integration.

The SNSD believes that the politicized Court of BiH has carried out a direct attack on the Constitution of BiH, acting unconstitutionally at the behest of a foreigner, as well as on the Constitution of Republika Srpska, placing its decisions above it, because it has convicted the President of Republika Srpska with a final verdict for exercising the constitutional powers of the President of the Republic.

With the aforementioned blow of the Court of BiH, we can also connect the so-called case of the fourth delegate to the House of Peoples of BiH from Republika Srpska, which is directly related to all the activities they have led earlier and are still leading against Republika Srpska and its institutions.

The SNSD called all parliamentary political parties and other actors of social life in Republika Srpska to form a government of national unity, as well as for joint action at the level of joint institutions of BiH and for the rejection of decision-making in those institutions until the position of Republika Srpska is restored as provided for by the Constitution of BiH.

SNSD remains committed to peace, stability and dialogue, but never at the cost of the dignity, identity and freedom of the Serb people. Our response to injustice is not chaos, but organization. It is not violence, but political strength. It is not submission, but faith in the people.

The Main Committee obliges all committees to complete the internal party elections in accordance with previous decisions of the SNSD Presidency, with the aim of becoming stronger and in order to be ready to welcome the times and challenges ahead.

The SNSD remains a decisive factor in political processes and continues to lead the state of Republika Srpska, and in joint institutions it continues to defend the interests of Republika Srpska without hesitation.

The SNSD Main Board requests the Club of SNSD Deputies to initiate a special session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska with the aim of discussing and making adequate decisions on the reaction to the unconstitutional and political verdict.

SNSD accepts and supports the initiative of the President of the Association of Municipalities and Cities of Republika Srpska to hold sessions of local parliaments in order to discuss and make adequate decisions on the reaction to the unconstitutional and political verdict.

The SNSD thanks the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republika Srpska, the Universities in the Republika Srpska, and the organizations arising from the defensive-patriotic war for their sincere support to the President of the Republika Srpska throughout the entire judicial persecution.

SNSD thanks its coalition partners in Republika Srpska for their support and perseverance in the joint fight for Republika Srpska.

In the conclusions, the SNSD thanks Serbia and Hungary and their state leaderships who, in these difficult moments, have shown understanding and support in the struggle of the Republika Srpska for institutional integrity and political independence within the framework of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

The SNSD Main Board noted that this party is not in a coalition or partnership with any political party from the Federation of BiH at the level of joint institutions of BiH, and that in the coming period, representatives of the Republika Srpska will participate in the work of joint institutions of BiH through passive presence and non-decision-making in order to protect the interests of the Republika Srpska and its citizens.

"In the name of the people who elected us, in the name of the Republika Srpska that we love, in the name of the freedom that we do not give up - we say: SNSD will not give up. Dodik will not be silenced. Republika Srpska remains strong. Because it is not possible to judge the people. And when they try to judge the will of the people - only then will the people rise up even stronger," it was emphasized in the conclusions adopted today by the Main Board and Presidency of the SNSD.
