TRIŠIĆ BABIĆ: TRUMP BUILDING BRIDGES OF DIALOGUE AND CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR AGREEMENT

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 11 /SRNA/ – Ana Trišić Babić, Acting Director of the Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office, has said this evening that, at a time of major challenges to world peace, US President Donald Trump was persistently building bridges of dialogue and creating opportunities for agreement, even when political differences seemed insurmountable.

She stressed that this was precisely what responsible statesman policy was all about.

"Peace is not built by deepening divisions, but by being willing to talk even when it is most difficult," Trišić Babić said, welcoming Trump’s engagement and his initiative for an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.

Trišić Babić also welcomed Russia’s and Ukraine’s willingness to pursue an energy ceasefire, noting that such steps could open the way for a broader process.

"The world needs such efforts today, because no conflict can last forever, but the consequences of misguided political decisions can affect entire generations," Trišić Babić posted on X.

According to her, Trump and Putin are once again demonstrating how important it is to persevere in dialogue and the search for solutions, even under the most difficult international circumstances.

Their efforts, she emphasized, demonstrate the importance of having leaders of major powers who understand that even the deepest political differences must not stand in the way of efforts to preserve peace and international stability.


"With this approach, they are once again giving the world an opportunity to return to diplomacy and dialogue instead of further deepening conflicts and mutual exclusion," Trišić Babić stressed.

She added that it would be good for other world leaders to understand this as well, particularly those who still view division and exclusion as signs of political power and determination.

"The seriousness of statesman’s policy is not measured by the ability to deepen conflicts, but by the wisdom and determination to find a way out of them. Always on the right side. The side of peace and stability!" Trišić Babić concluded.
