SRPSKA IS A FACT AND ITS VOICE IS HEARD, APPRECIATION FOR REASON IN THE SECURITY COUNCIL

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković has pointed out that Republika Srpska is a fact and thanked for the "voice of reason" from the UN Security Council, whose members called on political representatives in BiH to engage in a constructive dialogue with the aim of preserving the unity and political stability of the country.

Višković believes that it is high time for dialogue, respecting the constitutional arrangement of BiH, the fact that there are two entities and that the property belongs to the entities, and not to BiH.

He stated that slowly the truth is coming to its place and that the lies that have been spread from Sarajevo for years are slowly being exposed, both in the UN and in the Security Council.

"Our voice also reaches those who somehow had false information, semi-information about the situation in BiH," said Višković.

He pointed out that calls for dialogue and respect for the Constitution are constantly coming from Republika Srpska.

"I am again calling for talks, and we have been doing that all these years, both the President of the Republic, and the President of the National Assembly, and the Government, we even wrote letters where we invited our colleagues to dialogue, but obviously there was no such dialogue or there was no desire for dialogue," Višković said.

He noted that the truth can hardly reach when "on the other side are people who are deaf in their ears, blind in their eyes".

"They obviously had some instigators who stood behind them and who in some way told them 'just push, we are here to help you achieve what you did not achieve here in the fratricidal or civil war', which happened on the territory of BiH", Višković stated.

The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska said that they must understand as soon as possible that Bosnia and Herzegovina is made up of two entities, three constituent peoples, that Republika Srpska is an indisputable fact, that it exists and will exist and that they cannot take it away.

"This is a waste of time. Let's go back to the issues of life, to the issues of our citizens," said Višković.

He said that Serbs, Bosniaks, Croats and others suffer from this situation.

"There are no winners from this, the losers here are ordinary people and this should not be done," Višković added.

He stated that when it rains and when there are floods, they affect both entities.

"Yesterday, our people from Doboj helped with material and technical resources in the municipality of Doboj-South, because our city of Doboj was not threatened by floods from Bosna and Spreča, but the problem was in another entity. They appealed and our people gave them material and technical resources to protect citizens' property," Višković told RTRS.

He added that he was informed that this was done and that he approved it.

"I said that we were always there to help and that we were always available. And when it comes to the events in Jablanica, we from Republika Srpska offered all our help to come to the people. And we did that before, and we will do that in the future," Višković stressed.

He added that dialogue, cooperation and those ordinary things are something on which the future should be built.

"And these political attempts to achieve something that you have not been able to achieve for years, centuries, you are doing it in vain. Republika Srpska is a fact and the sooner you accept it, the easier it will be for you and for us," Višković said.

The members of the UN Security Council called on the political representatives of the two entities in BiH and the three constituent nations and others to respect the provisions of the Dayton Peace Accords and the Constitution, and to engage in honest, open and constructive dialogue with the aim of preserving the unity and political stability of the country.

In a joint statement, the members of the UN Security Council pointed to the need to resolve disputes by consensus and avoid confrontations in order to preserve peace and stability.
