BANJA LUKA, MAY 9 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Nikola Špirić told SRNA that the opposition in Republika Srpska, at the behest of the Bosniaks, initiated the issue of replacing Serbian personnel in the institutions at the level of BiH, and that by doing so, they are violating the electoral will of the citizens and weakening Srpska's negotiating position on the future of BiH.

Špirić believes that the opposition representatives, who seek the removal of Serbian personnel from the joint institutions at the level of BiH, have sworn allegiance to someone outside of BiH.

"That's their problem, but I believe their demands stem from there. They know they don't have the electoral result that would allow them to do anything. They are calling on Christian Schmidt to make changes, impose sanctions, change the Electoral Law, and organize early elections, but the assessment is that they won't do well," Špirić said on the SRNA podcast.

He points out that it is hard to understand why the opposition in Republika Srpska has gotten involved in undermining Srpska’s institutional capacity at the behest of the Bosniak political body.

"They have to explain that. They are bothered when we say that they are part of the expanded Bosniak Caucus, and that's essentially what they are because they act together," Špirić emphasized.

He added that Bosniak political representatives are spreading lies that BiH is facing a security problem, not a political one, and that they won't shy away from creating incidents that would justify their narrative.

"I am afraid that if they want to cover up that lie, they will have to work on staging incidents so that their policy is accepted. That is what should be feared in BiH," Špirić emphasized.

In the new episode of SRNA's podcast, Špirić also spoke about the invitation to a meeting that the President of Republika Srpska extended to political party representatives in BiH, the life of Serbs in the Federation of BiH, and the attitude of foreigners toward issues and interests important to Serbs.

The new episode of SRNA's podcast, featuring the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Nikola Špirić, will be available to users of our service on the YouTube channel and social media tomorrow from 10:00.
