BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 7 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić says the date for a special session on the Court of BiH's judgment against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, the CEC's decision to terminate the presidential office and the Assembly's position on future activities of the republic institutions, will be determined once the documentation is complete.

"Item two will be the consideration and adoption of a decision on calling a referendum on the BiH Court's judgment against the Srpska president and the CEC BiH's decision terminating the presidential office," Stevandić told the press in Banja Luka after a session of the parliamentary Advisory Board.

He has added that the special session will be held based on the signatures of the members of parliament and will be scheduled in the near future.

"Whether it will be in four, five, or seven days, we will decide. But the day before the session, all deputies will be notified. All Advisory Board members were in favour of the session, while the representatives of the PDP, SDS, and the List for Justice and Order were abstaining," Stevandić noted.

Stevandić also said that appropriate decisions would be made at the session.

The Central Election Commission of BiH yesterday made a decision to strip the the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik of his mandate, who received the support of 300,000 citizens in the 2022 elections. The decision is subject to appeal.
