SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT SIGNED, ARBITRATION SUSPENDED IN WASHINGTON

UGLJEVIK, APRIL 14 /SRNA/ - An agreement was signed today in the Mine and Thermal Power Plant /RiTE/ Ugljevik on the settlement of obligations under arbitration decisions towards the company Elektrogospodarstvo Slovenije, thereby suspending the arbitration proceedings in Washington.

This is the third contract that fulfills all obligations and defines the next steps of suspending the arbitration proceedings before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington, which is conducted between Elektrogospodarstva Slovenije Company and BiH, on the occasion of self-governing agreements related to the construction of the Ugljevik Thermal Power Plant.

The contract was signed by the directors of Elektrogospodarstvo Slovenije Darko Kramar and the Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske Luka Petrović.

The signing of the contract was attended by the Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska Petar Đokić, as well as representatives of RiTE Ugljevik.
