POEM DEDICATED TO VIKTOR ORBAN – GUARDIAN OF CHRISTIAN EUROPE

BIJELJINA, APRIL 13 /SRNA/ – His Eminence Metropolitan Fotije of Zvornik and Tuzla has published a poem about Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, whom he described as a guardian of the old Europe founded on Christian principles.

"Europe, however, has become a Tower of Babel, which divided all nations because it chose evil over Christian truth," Bishop Fotije states.

In the poem "Orban," the Metropolitan emphasizes that the Hungarian prime minister and people like him do not wish to serve such a Europe – a Tower of Babel.

Bishop Fotije points out that through his policies, Orban has preserved traditional Europe "which did not turn deaf to the word of God," which inspired all nations with hope for a community of good.

For Europe as a Tower of Babel, Metropolitan Fotije says it serves false gods and false values which, in his view, will bring death to Europe instead of life.
