EAST SARAJEVO, MAY 3 /SRNA/ - The Judiciary of BiH is busy with political persecutions, which is why, for 33 years, there have been no convictions for crimes against JNA members in Dobrovoljačka Street in Sarajevo, said acting director of the Republic Research Centre on War, War Crimes and Tracing Missing Persons Viktor Nuždić.

Nuždić has pointed out that in this case there are no sanctions for anyone exercising judicial power in BiH.

He recalled that the first murders of JNA members took place in Bistrik on April 20, 1992, when two young soldiers were killed.

"After that, just two days later, a crime was committed against eight JNA reservists in Great Park. It all culminated on May 2 with the murder of 19 JNA soldiers and on May 3, when nine JNA members lost their lives during the previously agreed withdrawal, guaranteed by the UN," noted Nuždić.

He pointed out that today's commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the attack on the JNA convoy in East Sarajevo and Sarajevo honours the victims in order not to forget what happened to the Serb people.

East Sarajevo and Sarajevo has marked today 33 years since the attack on the JNA convoy in Dobrovoljačka Street in Sarajevo, in which paramilitary Muslim forces committed crimes against soldiers.
