BELGRADE, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić announced that the parliamentary session at which a new government will be elected will likely be scheduled for Tuesday, September 2.

"As soon as the Prime Minister-designate /Savo Minić/ completes consultations, he will send me a request to convene the Assembly session. If I receive it by Friday, August 29, I will hold a telephone meeting of the Collegium that same day, and the session will then be held next week, probably on Tuesday, or a day or two earlier or later. The agenda will include the exposé, the proposed cabinet, and the vote," Stevandić told reporters in Belgrade after meeting with the Speaker of the President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabić.

He emphasized that the new composition of the Republika Srpska Government will attend the joint session of the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska, scheduled for September 8.
