MOI AND POLICE - GUARANTOR OF SECURITY OF SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 4 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MOI) and the Police of Srpska are guarantors of the security of Republika Srpska.

"Republika Srpska is a safe destination today, especially thanks to its police" Višković told reporters after the ceremonial academy on the occasion of Police Day - April 4.

He pointed out that in the past period, significant investments were made in the modernization of police equipment, and above all in personnel, both through the Police Academy and through the Internal Affairs High School.

"We don't have to worry about the future, we will have enough trained staff who will continue and inherit what their predecessors did," Višković said.

He reminded that a significant number of members of the Republika Srpska MOI gave their lives for the defense of Republika Srpska, and emphasized that it is important to remember them and acknowledge their sacrifice.

"They ensured that we live in a free and safe Republika Srpska today," Višković stressed.

He said that the Government of Republika Srpska will continue to support the MOI of Srpska because the goal is a safe Srpska for all those who recognize its institutions and want to live here.

Višković congratulated the 33 years of successful work of the MOI and the Police of Srpska.
