BANJA LUKA, JULY 7 /SRNA/ - PDP MP Milanko Mihajilica said in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska that this political group would support the veto by the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović against the decision by the chairman of that joint institution Denis Bećirović on the appointment of members of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments of BiH, because the national interests of Republika Srpska need to be protected in this matter.
Mihajilica said that the decision adopted by the other members of the Presidency – Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić – by outvoting Cvijanović was harmful to the vital interests of Republika Srpska and the Serb people.
"The Serb member of the BiH Presidency cannot be outvoted, and decisions harmful to the interests of Republika Srpska cannot be adopted," Mihajilica stressed during the parliamentary debate on the veto submitted by Cvijanović.
MP from the For Justice and Order list Nebojša Vukanović said that this party would not vote on this agenda item, although it does not support the decisions of Presidency members Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić.
