METROPOLITAN LUKIJAN: DODIK'S VISIT FURTHER STRENGTHENS TIES BETWEEN TWO NATIONS

BUDAPEST, JUNE 4 /SRNA/ - His Eminence Metropolitan Lukijan of Buda has stated today that every visit by Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik to Budapest means a great deal, as it further strengthens the good Serb – Hungarian peoples' relations.

Metropolitan Lukijan remarked that Dodik is very familiar with the situation in Hungary.

"I am certain that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán understands the conditions in which the president of Republika Srpska lives and works, and that many in Europe would like to tie his hands and feet to prevent him from moving; some would even like to gag him to prevet him from speaking," Metropolitan Lukijan told the press in Budapest after his meeting with Dodik.

He has emphasized that he is especially pleased that Republika Srpska has a leader like Dodik.

"Thanks to the president of Republika Srpska, a gallery of models of our monasteries - from Moštanica to Hilandar - was opened at the Grabovac Monastery. Serbs have something to be proud of, and everyone has the opportunity to see it," Metropolitan Lukijan added.
