BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 14 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that US President Donald Trump had demonstrated in Dublin that great statesmen change the world through the courage to understand others, adding that today's meeting at which an agreement aimed at establishing independence from Great Britain will be signed shows that the era of domination and colonization is drawing to an end.
Dodik said that Trump does not divide peoples but encourages them to believe in themselves and in their right to sovereignty and freedom.
"His view that the unification of Northern Ireland and Ireland represents the most natural move of all time is visionary and in line with the policy of peoples' right to self-determination. If the German people were able to reunify, why should other peoples not have the same right?" Dodik asked.
He added that today's meeting of the leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in Cardiff, at which they will sign an agreement aimed at establishing independence from Great Britain, also shows that the era of domination and colonization is drawing to an end.
He noted on X that London's policy in the Balkans had brought much evil and misfortune, that it had encouraged divisions, sown hatred and intolerance, lectured others while violating all principles.
"London is no longer a global power, and that makes me particularly happy," Dodik concluded.
