FILM "WITNESS" ABOUT THE SUFFERING OF SERBS IN THE PAST WAR SCREENED IN STUTTGART

STUTTGART, APRIL 6 /SRNA/ - The film “The Witness” was screened today in Stuttgart. The film, among other themes, addresses the suffering of Serbs during the past war and highlights the work of the renowned Dr. Zoran Stanković.

The event was attended by the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, who emphasized that this is one of the Ministry’s initiatives, and that film is one of the most powerful media for presenting the truth about the suffering of the Serbian people.

Klokić also expressed his gratitude to film director Denis Bojić for successfully realizing the idea of screening the film abroad.

Bojić emphasized that telling the story of the suffering of the Serbian people is an essential necessity, especially in light of both historical and current political pressures on Republika Srpska and its institutions.

The Head of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Germany, Mićo Ćetković, said that he felt deeply saddened after watching the film, which presents new facts, and added that the impressions of all attendees were profoundly emotional.

The screening was organized by the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Germany, the Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, and the Serbian-German Cultural and Sports Club "Sloga" from Stuttgart.

The premiere was attended by guests from the social, economic, and political life of Stuttgart, as well as representatives of the Serbian community in Germany and institutions of Republika Srpska, as announced by the Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska.

After the film screening, a meeting was held at the Republika Srpska Representative Office with former Bundestag member Stefan Kaufmann, as well as a broader meeting with the Consul General and representatives of Serbian associations in Germany.
