DODIK: RATIONAL APPROACH SHOULD BE FORMED IN CONNECTION TO ALTHEA MISSION

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 9 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said today that the UN Security Council sessions, which will be held until the end of the year, will be an exceptional opportunity to form a rational approach regarding the stay of ALTHEA military forces in BiH.

Dodik said at a press conference in Moscow, after the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov, that Republika Srpska highly values the consultations it has with the Russian Federation on this matter.

"We will continue it in the coming period," said Dodik.

He reminded that the presence of ALTHEA military forces and their stay in BiH is approved by the UN Security Council every year.

Dodik said that BiH is under occupation, which must be resolved.

"There is a foreigner making decisions, 300 years after parliamentarians in Europe fought that an individual cannot impose laws. That used to be Hitler, and after him, we have Schmidt. Both are Germans and we have to get rid of that occupation," said Dodik.
