DODIK: NARRATIVE ABOUT DESTROYING CONSTITUTIONAL ORDER IS CYNICAL

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 8 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that Republika Srpska officials are committed to the Constitution and that the narrative claiming that they are destroying the constitutional order is cynical.

"We are not threatening peace, we are engaged in political processes, not war," said Dodik.

He emphasized that Republika Srpska officials are accustomed to constant pressure, whether it comes from foreigners or Muslims from Sarajevo.

"Now they have applied a new method where a foreigner makes a decision, and if you don't respect it, you can be held accountable. This has undermined the Constitution, but for the judiciary, that's not important," said Dodik.

The President of Republika Srpska pointed out that the key issue is the ban on his political work.

"They have realized that the most important authorities from Republika Srpska should be prosecuted in court, with the help of a foreigner," said Dodik.

He said that Christian Schmidt, with his decisions, wanted to finish some unfinished business in BiH.

"This is being offered to us as a perspective," said Dodik, adding that BiH should have never survived.

Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska wants to restore everything to normal.

"Maybe it's not a problem to have a court and prosecutor's office at the level of BiH, but a monstrosity like the one we have now is unacceptable," said Dodik.

He said that Republika Srpska institutions have gathered all the information regarding the attack on Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Srebrenica, but that the judiciary at the BiH level has done nothing about it.

"And when you protest against that, they label you as a secessionist," Dodik told TV "Informer."
