DODIK: INTERNATIONALS WOULD LIKE TO RIG ELECTIONS IN BiH

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 31 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik says the purpose of introducing new technologies into the upcoming electoral process in BiH is to enable electoral fraud to be carried out by international representatives, noting that they nevertheless cannot defeat the Serb people.

"Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Luigi Soreca, who claims that new technologies will restore residents’ confidence in elections, is nothing but a liar. He is trying to justify his EUR 20,000 salary. Such technologies have been rejected in Germany, while in BiH they are trying to impose them on us. Soreca will then sit there and rig the elections. But we are not naive either, we are not afraid of him," Dodik told the press in Banja Luka following a session of the SNSD Presidency.

Dodik stressed that the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH, which is not legitimate, penalizes political entities regardless of what they do, as if the intention were to bring political life here to a standstill.

"They have not been granted legitimacy by any act, and we are entering the realm of illegal elections," Dodik warned.

Dodik points out that the EU prohibits such electoral practices.

"We agreed to this because they wanted us to withdraw, and then promote their own. You can see the frenzy daily in the FBiH media – that the most important thing is to remove me and bring in people who will have greater faith in BiH. If they win, they can fabricate all sorts of things against me, but they cannot defeat this people," Dodik stressed.
