MOSCOW, May 10 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik told RIA Novosti that, despite the attempted arrest warrant against him, he has no plans to abandon Srpska and continues to feel safe there.
“I have no intention of leaving Republika Srpska. We’ll see how things develop, but in Republika Srpska we have our own security system, and that’s why I feel secure there—just as I do here in Russia,” Dodik said.
RIA Novosti recalled Dodik’s earlier remark that Interpol refused to pursue a politically motivated request from the BiH Court and has begun to ignore the ongoing attempts by BiH authorities to target him personally.
Dodik added that during his visit to Moscow he managed to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin whenever protocol allowed, and that they discussed a range of important issues.
“I came to Moscow at Putin’s invitation for the Victory Day celebrations. I met with him on several protocol occasions, and we were able to touch on key topics that we first addressed during our official meeting a few weeks ago,” Dodik added.
