BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 2 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik states that the economic situation in Republika Srpska is stable, as reflected in its gross domestic product /GDP/, which stands at BAM 20 billion. "We are seeing growth in the manufacturing industry, despite a decline recorded previously. Direct revenues have increased by 10 per cent, while indirect revenues have risen by six per cent. Real growth in personal income stands at 10 per cent, meaning it has exceeded inflation, which ranged between four and six per cent," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka. He said that Republika Srpska would have a stabilisation-oriented budget next year, which would ensure an increase in pensions and veteran allowances of between 7.5 and eight per cent. "We are experiencing real growth in income. Salaries in Republika Srpska will increase, starting with the education sector on January 1, followed by other budget beneficiaries. The SNSD will present a comprehensive programme for the advancement of society," Dodik emphasised.
