CVIJANOVIĆ: KOZARA - SYMBOL OF OUR FREEDOM AND GREAT SACRIFICE

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 29 /SRNA/ - The Serb member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, said that Kozara is a symbol of freedom and that the memory of the Kozara victims and their heroism is embedded in the foundations of Republika Srpska.

“Kozara is a symbol of our freedom and of the great sacrifice we made for it. This area was the heart of one of the largest free territories in occupied Europe during the Second World War,” Cvijanović said.

According to her, the people of Kozara paid a heavy price for their defiance and freedom-loving spirit.

"The memory of Kozara, the memory of its victims and heroism, is embedded in the very foundations of Republika Srpska. By remembering Kozara, we preserve our Republic and the freedom that generations of heroes fought for on behalf of our people," Cvijanović wrote on Instagram.
