HE AND BESSENT IN NEW YORK ON ADVANCING BILATERAL TRADE AND INVESTMENT

NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 21 /SRNA/ – Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met in New York with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to discuss advancing bilateral trade and investment, as well as issues related to artificial intelligence.

The meeting, which was also attended by US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, included discussions on, among other things, the implementation of agreements reached during previous economic and trade negotiations, the China Media Group reported.

Guided by the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and respecting the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and cooperation for mutual benefit, the two sides engaged in candid, in-depth, and constructive exchanges of views on important economic and trade issues of common interest, the report said.
