BUDGET SITUATION STABILIZED THANKS TO REPUBLIKA SRPSKA GOVERNMENT’S ASSISTANCE

KRUPA NA UNI, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ – Miroslav Radaković, Acting Deputy Mayor of Krupa na Uni, says that, thanks to assistance from the Republika Srpska Government, the budget situation in this extremely underdeveloped local community has been stabilized.

Radaković told SRNA that since July 2, when he took office, five salaries have been paid to employees of the municipal administration, along with four rounds of social benefits.

"The budget situation is stabilizing. The August salary and August social benefits have been paid, as well as part of the agricultural production incentives and scholarships," he said.

According to him, the Republika Srpska Government provided BAM 120,000 from the Solidarity Fund.

"With the support of the Republika Srpska Government and the rationalization of expenses, we are reaching a situation in which we will be able to meet our obligations regularly. When I took office, the budget debt amounted to BAM 297,000; now it is around BAM 50,000," he said.

Radaković noted that the Government recently approved BAM 29,100 for the Municipality of Krupa na Uni as part of assistance for underdeveloped and extremely underdeveloped municipalities, which will further improve the municipality’s budget situation.

He said that the implementation of an infrastructure project in the Bušević settlement was also agreed in July this year, explaining that the Republika Srpska Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, through the Agrarian Payments Agency, provided BAM 50,000.
