5,000 BIKERS TAKE PART IN MOTO GATHERING

TREBINJE, JUNE 13 /SRNA/ – A kilometer-long column of motorcyclists paraded through the streets of Trebinje this evening as part of the 26th International Motorcycle Gathering, which this year has attracted a record 5,000 bikers from the region and European countries.

Following the parade, traditional motorcycle games were held at the rally camp, while the musical program tonight features the Europe-wide known AC/DI tribute band, performing the sound of AC/DC, with local band Krugovi u žitu as the opening act.

Prior to the parade, Trebinje Mayor Mirko Ćurić hosted a reception for participants of the motorcycle gathering and said that it is an exceptionally important event for the city and that the organizers will always have the support of the City Administration.

The event is organized by the TNT Motorcycle Club, with the support of the City of Trebinje and the Trebinje Tourist Organization.

Miki Muratović, a member of the TNT Motorcycle Club Trebinje, said that a record 5,000 motorcyclists are expected at this year's rally.

He appealed to bikers to be cautious, for everything to proceed smoothly, and for everyone to leave Trebinje with fond memories.
