GATHERING ENDS, ORGANISERS CALL ON CROWD TO DISPERSE

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 26 /SRNA/ – The gathering at Slavija Square in Belgrade, held to celebrate the election victory of the Student List, has ended, and the organisers have called on those gathered to disperse, an SRNA correspondent reports.

The number of people at Slavija Square is dwindling, although around a hundred young people remain at the fountain.

Motorcyclists are forming a line, while several fire engines and an ambulance are stationed about 200 metres from the fountain.

Shortly before the organisers called on the crowd to disperse, several fireworks were set off.

Young people are currently collecting rubbish from the square, where there are many shards of broken alcoholic beverage bottles.
