President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 22 /SRNA/ – Aleksandar Vučić, head of the "United Serbia" electoral list, said falsified documents had been published claiming that he had pardoned people linked to the canopy collapse case while serving as Serbia's president, which he described as a lie.

"Dear citizens, I just want you to see what kind of fraudsters we are dealing with. Today, they published some falsified document claiming that I had supposedly pardoned people, granted them amnesty, in connection with the canopy collapse case. What an outrageous lie, just like everything else they make up," Vučić told RTS.

He added that similar lies had been spread about cases such as Jovanjica, the alleged use of a sonic weapon and the so-called Sarajevo Safari.

"Meanwhile, they were ruining people's lives. Everything they have ever said has always been a lie. But the end justifies the means," Vučić said
