CRIMINAL NDH WAS FATAL FOR SERBS

BELGRADE, APRIL 8 /SRNA/ - President of the Krajišniks Association Mile Bosnić pointed out that the existence of the NDH permanently changed the fate of the Serbian people and made the once exclusively Serbian areas remain deserted today.

"If there was no NDH, there would be several million more Serbs. It is a terrible loss, if not the biggest in the history of our nation, the consequences of which are unfathomable," Bosnić told SRNA on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the founding of the criminal NDH.

Bosnić, who has been investigating crimes in the NDH for decades, stated that at least one million Serbs were killed on the territory of the Ustasha state, and that their executioners had as many as 300 methods of torture and killing.

He pointed out that the ways in which Serbian children were killed in the NDH were particularly horrific - from disembowelling to stabbing them with bayonets, which is unprecedented in the world.

"It must always be mentioned that only the NDH in enslaved Europe had children's concentration camps. Serbian children were forcibly converted to Catholicism, transferred from one group to another, and this is pure genocide by definition," Bosnić stressed.

Bosnić stated that a regime similar to NDH did not exist in the history of the human race, from the original community until today, and that all evil was sublimated in it.

"We hope that by the end of the year the resolution on the genocide of Serbs in the NDH will finally be adopted /in the Parliament of Serbia/, in order to clearly show how much damage that monstrous creation has done to us as a nation," Bosnić said.

Under the protection of the German Reich, the NDH was proclaimed in Zagreb on April 10, 1941, in which the genocide of Serbs, Jews and Roma was carried out.

Orthodox Serbs, with the blessing of the Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church in Croatia, were forcibly baptized, and the most drastic form of terror against Serbs, Jews and Roma was mass slaughter.

The most famous execution site is the Jasenovac concentration camp, where hundreds of thousands of people were killed.

The program of the NDH, formulated by Mile Budak, was to "cleanse" Croatia of Serbs by killing one third, expelling one third, and converting one third to Catholicism.
