SELAK: THREE BOSNIAKS ATTACKED SERB RETURNEES IN LUŠCI PALANKA NEAR SANSKI MOST

BANJA LUKA, JULY 19 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Justice Minister Goran Selak said that three Bosniaks physically assaulted Serb returnees Mika Davidović and her husband Željko Matić in Lušci Palanka, near Sanski Most.

In a post on X, Selak shared a video of the attack and identified the attackers as Suvad Bašić, Muharem Bašić, and Hasan Rekić from Fajtovci, near Sanski Most.

"We call on the Una-Sana Canton Ministry of the Interior, the competent minister, and the police director to urgently investigate this case and inform the public about the measures taken," Selak said.

He stressed that every attack on Serb returnees must be thoroughly investigated and that the safety of Serb returnees in Sanski Most and throughout the Federation of BiH must be guaranteed.

"Violence and intimidation must not have an ethnic dimension or go unanswered. That is why we demand an urgent response from the competent institutions. Mika Davidović is a Serb returnee who opened the 'Zadnja stanica Mika' /'Mika's Last Stop'/ hospitality establishment in Lušci Palanka, which serves as a small local gathering place for residents," Selak said.
