BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – The leader of United Srpska party, Nenad Stevandić, told SRNA that the presidential elections in Republika Srpska ended three years ago, when SNSD leader Milorad Dodik assumed office, therefore the upcoming early elections should merely verify that people’s will and confirm statehood within coalition relations.
“This is the office Milorad Dodik earned, and whoever is designated to complete it in the final nine months is a technical, not a substantive matter,” Stevandić said.
He explained that the essential issue is that the Srpska citizens must not allow Sarajevo and internationals who do not want to grant Srpska its constitutional powers, to dig trenches within Srpska and divide the people.
“We must preserve our statehood and show that the people do not change their mind,” Stevandić concluded.
