LAKTAŠI, DECEMBER 2 /SRNA/ - Laktaši Mayor Miroslav Bojić stated that the results of the early presidential elections in Republika Srpska will not be changed by the recount of ballots from regular polling stations in the electoral units of Zvornik, Banja Luka, and Laktaši, and that the current results will be confirmed.
"I expect the election results to be confirmed soon so that we can begin working, and that the SNSD candidate, Siniša Karan, who received the greatest support from the people, can assume office," Bojić told reporters in Laktaši.
Bojić noted that one ballot was missing at the polling station in Aleksandrovac, Laktaši.
"This is a mistake that could have occurred during transport, which often happens in electoral processes, and it will not significantly change the final results at that polling station, nor the overall results," Bojić emphasized.
Regarding the Bill on Property, which is to be discussed by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Bojić emphasized that Republika Srpska will not allow the transfer of property to the BiH level.
He noted that with the arrival of the new U.S. administration, "different winds are blowing".
"They are finally working in our favor, so the transfer of property to the BiH level cannot be a topic of discussion at any cost," said Bojić, who is also the Vice President of the SNSD.
