ŽELJKA CVIJANOVIĆ: SRPSKA - ISRAEL COOPERATION BASED ON FRIENDSHIP

WASHINGTON, MAY 14 /SRNA/ – The Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović attended the celebration of the Independence Day of the State of Israel in Washington at the invitation of the Israeli ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter.

"Cooperation between Republika Srpska and Israel is based on sincere friendship and strong historical ties, and we are firmly committed to its further advancement," Cvijanović said.

She pointed out that the event in Washington was an opportunity to meet and speak with Chris Wright, Secretary of Energy in the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as with the U.S. ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee.

"It was a special pleasure to meet an old friend, Malcolm Hoenlein, a prominent representative of the Jewish community in the United States," Cvijanović posted on X.
