EAST SARAJEVO, AUGUST 7 /SRNA/ – A closed session of the UN Security Council regarding the situation in BiH, to be held tonight at Russia's initiative, will show whether the international community still agrees to the collapse of BiH's constitutional order, Sanja Vulić, the head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives, told SRNA.
"Thanks to Russia for its firm support of the constitution, justice, and the survival of the Dayton-based BiH," said Vulić.
She emphasized that the judgment against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is not a judicial decision, but a political reckoning and an attempt to silence the Serb people in BiH.
She stated that the judgment against the president of Republika Srpska represents a gross violation of the BiH Constitution, particularly Article 1/2, which defines BiH as a democratic country based on the rule of law and free elections.
According to her, the Serb people and the institutions of Republika Srpska remain committed to defending the letter of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the equality of all peoples, in contrast to the aspirations of Sarajevo and the illegitimate Christian Schmidt towards a unitary, centralised, and ideologically coloured BiH.
"The illegitimate and openly biased Christian Schmidt, whose actions have not been confirmed by the UN Security Council, continues to unilaterally impose decisions that destroy the Dayton and destabilize the country. His arbitrariness cannot be above the BiH Constitution," emphasized Vulić.
The UN Security Council will hold closed consultations tonight regarding the situation in BiH, following the decision by the BiH Central Election Commission /CEC/ to revoke the office of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, as announced in the official schedule of the Council.
