STEVANDIĆ: REPUBLIKA SRPSKA WILL PREVAIL

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 1 /SRNA/ - President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić stated that Republika Srpska has always prevailed and will prevail again, even after the confirmation of the verdict issued by the Court of BiH against President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik.

Stevandić said the verdict is yet another trap aimed at provoking conflict in BiH, but emphasized that Republika Srpska will continue to safeguard peace and interethnic relations.

"Republika Srpska has institutions that will determine how we proceed. There is no need to demonstrate our capabilities in advance. We are confident that the people stand with us," Stevandić told a press conference in Banja luka.

He added that past negative forecasts, whether political or financial, have never materialized, and the stability of Republika Srpska will not be shaken now either.

"This is an attempt to delegitimize or prevent all future victories of President Dodik, which are certain," Stevandić concluded.
