PAVIĆ: THE DAYTON JUST A TRUCE FOR BOSNIAKS AND THEIR SPONSORS

BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – Political scientist Aleksandar Pavić assesses that demands by Bosniak politicians and foreign lobbyists to abolish the Dayton Peace Agreement, as well as the special and parallel relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska and between the entities, show that they viewed the agreement merely as a truce and that they have never abandoned their original intention to create a BiH dominated by Muslims, or by official Sarajevo.

Pavić told SRNA that the goal of these forces is primarily to reduce the Serbs, as well as the Croats, to the smallest possible extent.

"They have never reconciled themselves to the existence of Republika Srpska and use every opportunity to attack it and call its existence into question. If they have no real reason, they will invent one," Pavić said.

He noted that they have now used the funeral of General Ratko Mladić as a pretext, adding that there is always something they will seize upon.

"They object to Ratko Mladić because he was at the head of an army that defended the Serb people in BiH from an attempt to repeat the genocide, i.e. to complete the genocide from World War II. They cannot accept the fact that they failed to achieve what their ancestors began in 1941 in the Independent State of Croatia /NDH/. That is why they hate both Mladić and everyone who respects him," Pavić said.

According to him, through these actions they are concealing the truth about the 1990s wars and the fact that Alija Izetbegović was responsible for the war.

"Ratko Mladić would not have been needed, nor would the Republika Srpska Army have existed, if Alija Izetbegović had not withdrawn his signature from the Cutileiro Plan. He clearly said that he was prepared to sacrifice peace for sovereignty. That is what they want to conceal, thinking that by shouting louder they will somehow bury the truth," Pavić said.

Commenting on an initiative by Austrian NATO lobbyist Günther Fehlinger for constitutional restructuring in BiH, under which the entities would be abolished, Pavić noted that Austria, together with Germany and the Vatican, was among the leading forces behind the breakup of Yugoslavia.

"BiH illegally seceded from Yugoslavia on the basis of an illegal referendum that did not obtain a two-thirds majority and without the consent of the Serb people, even though this was stipulated by the Constitution of BiH at the time," Pavić said.

He stressed that Bosniaks and their foreign sponsors want to conceal all of this by demonizing the Serbs, their struggle, and the person who led that struggle as commander of the VRS Main Staff.

Pavić believes that the latest initiatives to abolish Republika Srpska are partly a result of the fact that the election campaign in BiH is underway.

"Yes, it is an election campaign, but an atmosphere is being created here in which they hope there will be a second half. We remember the hysteria preceding the breakup of Yugoslavia. It is no wonder that the war flags of the so-called Army of BiH are being waved more and more. These things should be taken seriously," Pavić warned.

He said that as long as the balance of power in Sarajevo remains as it is and as long as those leading the pressure on Republika Srpska remain in charge, these efforts will continue.

"They will continue to advocate for the survival of the High Representative, i.e. the colonial administrator in BiH. They will do everything with the aim of minimizing Republika Srpska, weakening it from within and ultimately abolishing it. As long as sponsors exist, and there are forces supporting this, primarily in Europe and within part of the American deep state - they will not stop. We must be aware of that," Pavić said.
