OPPOSITION FROM SRPSKA A "FIG LEAF" FOR ILL INTENTIONS OF THE EXPANDED BOSNIAK CAUCUS

SARAJEVO, April 29 /SRNA/ – The draft agreement created and promoted by the opposition from Republika Srpska in Trebinje was written under the instructions and dictate of the SDA, specifically within the expanded Bosniak caucus of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, the Chairman of the House Nikola Špirić told SRNA.

"This agreement is nothing more than a political maneuver by the SDA, which is using the opposition from Republika Srpska as a fig leaf to cover its ill intentions toward Republika Srpska, its institutions, and its leadership," Špirić stated.

He pointed out that this was all orchestrated within the expanded Bosniak caucus and that the SDA is using it to reestablish itself as an indispensable political force within the Bosniak electorate for the 2026 elections.

Špirić emphasized that the SDA is the main actor in deepening the political crisis in BiH and that it is therefore calling for international intervention.

"It is no surprise, then, that they are calling for the help of Christian Schmidt. Whether the `genius` Schmidt will resort to changing the Constitution of BiH by the principle of `a constitution for a day,` and impose a rulebook with the aim of eliminating the electoral will of the voters – thereby reducing democracy in BiH to zero – remains to be seen," said Špirić.

He stressed that, despite everything, the SNSD will continue to insist on strict adherence to the Constitution and the implementation of the rulebook.
