BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - Foreign policy of BiH is under the jurisdiction of the BiH Presidency, and no decision is possible without the consent of the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Radovan Kovačević said.
Commenting on the statement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković that BiH, as he put it, is reducing its relations with Serbia to a minimum, Kovačević said that Konaković could only sever relations between the Federation of BiH and Serbia, while relations between Republika Srpska and the Republic of Serbia would remain at the highest possible level, in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and the Agreement on Special and Parallel Relations.
He recalled that BiH Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandar Vranješ was appointed from the Republika Srpska quota and remains, as before, fully committed to mutual cooperation.
"With this frustrated and childish attempt at escalating the crisis, Sarajevo has once again shown that it is the main cause of instability in our region," Kovačević wrote on X.
