KOŠARAC: WITHOUT CONSENT OF SRPSKA, THERE IS NO EU PATH OF BiH, DODIK IS THE ADDRESS FOR NEGOTIATIONS

SARAJEVO, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ - The deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, told SRNA that without the position and consent of Republika Srpska, there is no EU path to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized that the President of Srpska Milorad Dodik is the address for negotiations on behalf of Srpska, because the Serb people stand behind his policies.

Košarac said that Dodik is the legally and legitimately elected president of Republika Srpska and the leader of the Serb people in BiH, a statesman who leads negotiations on behalf of Srpska on everything, including EU integration, because the citizens of Srpska confirm his legitimacy for that in every election cycle.

He pointed out that the representatives of Republika Srpska at all levels of government follow the policy of Milorad Dodik, who is not a separatist, nor does Srpska have any separatist aspirations.

Košarac said that the politics of Milorad Dodik and the institution of Srpska is the original Dayton and the Constitution without imposed reforms, in the agreement of two entities and three constituent nations, without foreigners.

"Nothing more. Nothing less. We have the right to a political struggle for constitutionality and sovereignty. We are not interested in the personal observations of the EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, because they are general and inaccurate," said Košarac and added that without the position and consent of Srpska, there is no EU path for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Regarding the statement of the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, that the president of Srpska is not the EU's interlocutor when discussing solutions for BiH due to, as he says, separatist aspirations, Košarac asked who the EU thinks it is talking to, if not the legitimate president of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who is an expression of the democratic will of the Serb people in BiH.

"With the treacherous opposition /in/ Srpska, which sells the national interest for seats, masking it with concern for the European path?! With them?! With people who do not have legitimacy and were not elected by the majority will of the citizens of Srpska?! With people who cannot even represent the local community?!", said Košarac.

He asked whether the EU will negotiate with political Sarajevo on behalf of Srpska, "with the Bosniak structure that persistently dreams of the unfulfilled dreams of the centralization of BiH and the disappearance of Srpska".

"Are European standards the abolition of democracy and the collapse of the democratic will of a people?! Let the EU not teach us a lesson! It is itself in huge problems. Let them focus on themselves. It gives the impression that the EU is in bankruptcy and that a bankruptcy manager is waiting," Košarac said.

He pointed out that only the agreed positions of the two entities and three constituent peoples can speak on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"To reiterate, Milorad Dodik is the address for negotiations on behalf of Srpska, because the Serb people stand behind his policies," Košarac added.
