EAST SARAJEVO, APRIL 5 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac told SRNA that the policy of imposing sanctions is wrong on many levels, that they will not achieve the goals of the centers that imposed them, and that this is merely the price that must be paid to the neoliberal Western elites in the fight for traditional values and sovereignty.

"To be honest, no one here is fighting for Muslims or the preservation of BiH. This is a clash between two political concepts, two political philosophies," Košarac said.

He says that the sanctions from Austria and Germany are nothing new for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, or for the leadership of Srpska.

"Even stronger countries have imposed sanctions on us and failed to break us, so these won't either," Košarac emphasized.

He pointed out that, on one side, there is a policy of sovereignty, strong nation-states, and traditional family and Christian values - policies advocated by President Dodik, Vladimir Putin, Viktor Orbán, and Donald Trump.

"On the other side, they are opposed by the policy of so-called liberalism and globalism, which promote non-traditional values, uncontrolled migration, gender fluidity, and more. It’s clear who represents these policies - they expose themselves," Košarac told SRNA.

He says that the real reason for the sanctions is, in fact, President Dodik's strong cooperation with Austria’s Freedom Party and Germany’s AfD.

"Austria's Freedom Party, with which we have excellent cooperation, won the elections in Austria. Despite their victory, political manipulations prevented them from forming the government. It's a similar /situation/ with the AfD in Germany. So, these sanctions come as a sort of revenge by the liberals for our support and cooperation," Košarac said.

He says that the era of sovereignty politics is yet to come, and that President Dodik and Republika Srpska are on the right and victorious side of history.
