EAST SARAJEVO, JULY 21 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said that the fusion between the Bosniak political structure and Christian Schmidt has caused damage to Republika Srpska, including the latest decision to have the debt in the “Vijadukt” case paid from Srpska’s funds.
"It is absolutely clear that there are Sarajevo political poltroons who are part of BiH institutions and go to Christian Schmidt every day, seeking ways to harm Republika Srpska," Košarac told reporters in East Sarajevo.
He emphasized that Republika Srpska knows how it will respond, but that Schmidt continues to act against Republika Srpska, relying on Sarajevo gossip and poltroons.
Košarac reminded that the Republika Srpska National Assembly had adopted a decision not to recognize Schmidt's decisions.
"It is clear that Schmidt, through such a narrative, is trying to impose anti-Dayton and unconstitutional decisions, which would create problems for Republika Srpska," Košarac said.
Košarac noted that Schmidt instigated a politically staged trial against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and that he is intent on targeting Srpska's institutions and jeopardizing Srpska financially.
"We will fight such a Schmidt by every democratic means," Košarac concluded, emphasizing that Republika Srpska is strong and financially stable.
