KOŠARAC: KONAKOVIĆ HANDLES POLITICS AND DIPLOMACY LIKE A BULL IN A CHINA SHOP

EAST SARAJEVO, MAY 18 /SRNA/ - Elmedin Konaković handles politics and diplomacy like a bull in a china shop, said Staša Košarac, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and a member of the SNSD Presidency.

“His statement that he is ‘ready for dialogue, but not with /Milorad/ Dodik and his SNSD’ is nothing but a lie and a weak excuse used to mask his fear and powerlessness, and to justify himself to his Western handlers,” Košarac emphasized.

He emphasized that the Troika coalition, through its submissiveness and servility to Michael Murphy and Christian Schmidt, has brought itself into a dead-end situation - they can’t move forward, and they don’t dare to go back.

The only question, he added, is whether they fear Poljine or Laktaši more in a game they’re playing outside their league and beyond their capacity.

“Konaković cannot choose who represents Republika Srpska in dialogue about BiH! That is the choice of the people of Republika Srpska, who, for two decades, have provided a clear answer: Milorad Dodik and the SNSD.

We know that the Troika’s choice is the weak opposition in Republika Srpska, one that is ready to trade away the interests of Srpska and the Serbian people for petty sinecures. But unfortunately for Sarajevo, the opposition’s capacity in Srpska is even smaller than that of the Troika," Košarac wrote on Instagram.

If Sarajevo’s Troika refuses to talk with the SNSD, Košarac added, they are welcome to talk with their "Troika" allies in Srpska.

“Let them form ‘sixes’ together, write platforms, and create shadow governments. Let the two ‘Troikas’ do whatever they please, as long as they are not pretending to be a serious factor. They have lost all credibility!” Košarac said.
