KOŠARAC: INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED DURING THE DAY TO ADOPT DECISION ON OPENING NEW BORDER CROSSING IN GRADIŠKA

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MAY 19 /SRNA/ - The collapse of the concrete structure and railing on the bridge at the border crossing in Gradiška is a direct consequence of an unacceptable political blockade from the FBiH, said Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac in a statement to SRNA.

Košarac pointed out that if the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH does not do its part of the job today, it is necessary to urgently establish, within the day, a new institutional framework to adopt, in accordance with the law, a decision on opening the new border crossing in Gradiška.

"We must not allow a collapse in foreign trade, nor allow our citizens to become victims of populist blockades from Sarajevo," Košarac said in a written statement for SRNA from Baku.

He said he truly considers the obstruction of the opening of the new border crossing in Gradiška to be an absolutely unacceptable act of vandalism, which defies common sense and all efforts of the institutions of Republika Srpska, BiH, and Croatia.
