SARAJEVO, MAY 31 /SRNA/ – Elmedin Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, is making it very clear with his statements that international centers of power evidently control the judiciary at the BiH level and dictate certain processes, said SNSD representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Milorad Kojić, in a statement to SRNA.
Kojić added that while Konaković claims he only received information, what must not be forgotten is that his actions—specifically free lobbying using money received from private individuals or businessmen—constitute a clear criminal offense, and it would be abnormal for it not to be prosecuted.
After Konaković stated that “the chief prosecutor of the unconstitutional BiH Prosecutor's Office, Milanko Kajganić, is ordering the opening of a case” against him for lobbying, confirming that the information is “accurate and verified,” Kojić believes Konaković must be prosecuted and that legal proceedings should be initiated rather than merely discussed.
"This is a classic example of international pressure, as it is very clear that the international community is attempting to exert pressure to keep Konaković, their favorite and puppet, in that position. They want to prevent his prosecution, at least for now, while his actions align with the policies of a unitary BiH supported by part of the international community. We must always remain cautious of that," Kojić emphasized.
