JANKOVIĆ: RESPONSIBILITY FOR RESOLVING CRISIS IN BiH LIES WITH THE APPEALS PANEL AND BOSNIAK POLITICIANS

ROGATICA, MAY 29 /SRNA/ – The President of the Rogatica Municipal Assembly, Siniša Janković, told SRNA that BiH is currently experiencing a crisis in its legal system caused by the foreigner Christian Schmidt, and that the appeals process in the case against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, presents an opportunity to end that crisis and return BiH to a legal framework.

“The responsibility for ending this crisis now lies with the Appeals Panel, which can stop the madness created by Schmidt. Responsibility also lies with Bosniak political structures, which believed that through their control of the judiciary, they could create room for building ‘their Bosnia,’” said Janković.

He emphasized that the involvement of judicial institutions in illegal and unconstitutional activities, including the issuance of a political judgment, has prompted a response from the leadership of Srpska aimed at defending the rights and laws of BiH, as well as the rights of Republika Srpska within BiH.

Janković recalled that both Schmidt and Bosniak political representatives have received clear messages from Europe and the United States that such actions are unacceptable, and that it is time for them to abandon various deceptions and accept Republika Srpska and the Dayton-based BiH as a reality.

“BiH needs a sustainable agreement based on constructive dialogue between domestic representatives whose legitimacy is confirmed by elections. BiH, just like any other country in the world, does not need fake laws imposed by self-proclaimed overseers.

What BiH needs is one simple thing – for its constituent peoples, through their legitimately elected representatives, to decide independently on their future and, through joint efforts, build a better BiH for all its peoples, based on agreements rather than foreign interference and interventionism,” Janković said.
