GOGANOVIĆ: THANKS TO DODIK AND PUTIN, SRPSKA AND RUSSIA MAINTAIN GOOD RELATIONS

SARAJEVO, JUNE 11 /SRNA/ – Deputy Minister of Defence in the Council of Ministers of BiH, Aleksandar Goganović, stated that Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation maintain traditionally good and friendly relations thanks to SNSD leader Milorad Dodik and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Goganović, who attended a formal reception in Sarajevo this evening at the invitation of Russian Federation Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov on the occasion of Russia Day, said that Republika Srpska - Russia relations are based on mutual respect.

“Mutual respect represents a solid foundation for further development of cooperation of common interest,” Goganović emphasized.

He stressed that Republika Srpska values the Russian Federation’s consistent position regarding respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement.

“The Russian Federation is an important international factor, and I am confident that the friendly relations between Republika Srpska and the Russian Federation will continue in the coming period,” Goganović stated.
