GOGANOVIĆ: INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS WANT TO OFFER SUPPORT, NOT MAKE DECISIONS FOR US

EAST SARAJEVO, JUNE 26 /SRNA/ – Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Aleksandar Goganović, said in a statement for SRNA that the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović are pursuing a serious and responsible politics, while representatives of political Sarajevo focus on spreading falsehoods about Republika Srpska.

"The leadership of Republika Srpska is building meaningful international relations and offering solutions to overcome the political crisis, whereas irresponsible individuals from the Federation of BiH constantly push a narrative against Republika Srpska, something that is increasingly being noticed by the international community," Goganović emphasized.

He said that there is growing nervousness in Sarajevo as they struggle to adapt to new geopolitical developments.

"Our position is clear, respect for the Dayton Peace Accords, dialogue, and mutual understanding can resolve nearly all issues in BiH. Unfortunately, our partners from political Sarajevo refuse to accept this, and all peoples in BiH suffer because of it. They must realize the time has come to get serious and take responsibility for solving problems in BiH.

The days when the international community handled those issues for them are over. After numerous meetings with our international partners recently, I have come to understand that they want to offer support, but they do not wish to make decisions in our place – and I fully support that approach," Goganović said.
